Ms. Rafia AlMulla is the Founder and CEO of 54° East. She is a graduate of the Foodservice Management Program at Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Real Estate Management and a Higher Diploma graduate in Marketing. She has realized great success in her current enterprise because of her innate ability to study trends and develop new concepts and lifestyle brands for an array of significant food service categories.
The AlMulla family has a long, rich business history in the UAE. This prestigious family has played a pioneering role in the development of trade and business life in Dubai. Today, Ms. Rafia AlMulla expands the family legacy by developing a dynamic and global Food & Beverage Enterprise in 54° East. She has created a reputation as a pioneer by successfully developing a niche within the ultra competitive Food & Beverage industry that serves a modern, cosmopolitan and well-travelled clientele. This enterprise was birthed with the launch of Yogurberry, a frozen yogurt store concept, which is the first and largest in the UAE.
